What this option includes

Single-sided printed panels for your bar front. Bar carcass, worktop and fixings are separate.

4. Colour

Choose one treatment. A gradient replaces the custom-colour premium.

Colour study — approximate shade. Pigment is incorporated into the print; material texture, translucency and colour matching are confirmed with a sample.

5. Size your area

Enter the overall surface. For a curved wall, measure its developed length along the curve, once.

Use 1 for one wall or bar front. We agree the number and sizes of printed modules with your quote.

Your current configuration

The entered width and height describe your overall area. They are not the dimensions of one manufactured panel.

Dimensions & module layout

The number of modules, individual sizes, relief depth, thickness, weight and joint positions are set out for your project. The input range in this configurator is a sizing tool, not a maximum printable panel size.

For a curved freestanding wall, measure the developed length once. Radius, module depth, footprint and stability need a project-specific check.

Wall preparation & fixings

The wall or bar carcass, its condition and its ability to take the proposed fixings need checking. Fixings, any battens or subframe, setting-out, clearances and a removable access strategy are selected for that substrate and panel geometry.

The estimate covers printed modules. Fixings, supports and installation are quoted separately. Do not assume one clip or adhesive suits every pattern and wall.

Lighting & electrical coordination

The lighting toggle shows an appearance study. It does not select a tested electrical kit. Where lighting is requested, the LED source, voltage, power, driver or power supply, dimming, cable route, heat management and service access must be specified together.

Agree the supply point and installer responsibilities with your electrician. Electrical equipment, wiring and installation are separate unless included in the quotation.

Material & surface sample

Translucent and wood-fibre options are material directions. The exact polymer, grade, colour, surface texture and any treatment are confirmed with a sample. Printed layer lines are part of the surface; a rendered image is not a finish sample.

Location, heat, moisture, cleaning and any fire or other performance requirements must be reviewed for the actual material and complete assembly.

How the finished wall meets your space

01

Joints & pattern alignment

Agree module seams, pattern continuity, tolerances and the appearance of joints. A seamless finish is not assumed from the render.

02

Edges, corners & returns

Resolve the top, bottom and side edges, wall junctions, internal and external corners, skirtings and any worktop overhang before fabrication.

03

Openings & access

Locate sockets, switches and penetrations. Coordinate concealment of cables, light spill, accessible equipment and removal of a module for maintenance.

What to send with your enquiry

Send a dimensioned elevation or sketch, photographs of the wall or bar, its substrate, the installation location and your preferred material. Mark corners, sockets and lighting supply points. We can then establish the module layout, fixing approach, edge details and scope of the quotation.

Final checks: approve the material sample and the agreed drawings, including joints, perimeter details, supports and any electrical specification, before manufacture.

Discuss installation details

Preliminary guide · 27 October 2026 · Bespoke printed modules only. Catalogue Alvea partitions and Butterfly samples have separate product specifications. This guide is not an issued installation drawing or a performance certificate.

Compare the patterns in the same setting. Application, material and lighting controls update every view.

Application scenes are design concepts. The “Built project” photograph beside your selected pattern shows the original installation; its geometry, scale and supporting details may differ from your configuration.

One pattern. Different ways to use it.

Bar fronts

Printed panels fitted around your existing bar. We plan joints, returns and clips around its dimensions. The bar carcass, worktop and installation are separate.

Wall cladding

A textured or illuminated layer for your wall. The estimate covers the printed surface; mounting, lighting and installation are specified separately.

Freestanding walls

Curved modules with printed thickness and a finished pattern on both faces. +80% over single-sided panels; coverage is measured once. Curvature, depth and stability are developed for your space.

How the estimate works.

What is the price based on?

Our printed-panel budget guide is £400–£700/m² excluding VAT, the same basis used for bespoke Butterfly panels. Multiply your area by this range, then by 1.8 for a double-sided freestanding wall, and by 1.3 for a custom colour or 1.5 for a gradient. The default displayed total includes 20% UK VAT; you can switch to excluding VAT. The final rate depends on pattern, material, geometry and quantity.

Do the colour premiums stack?

No. Choose standard, custom colour (+30%) or gradient (+50%). For a freestanding wall, the colour percentage applies after the +80% construction increase. For example, 1 m² of gradient freestanding wall is £1,080–£1,890 excluding VAT (£1,296–£2,268 including UK VAT). You do not pay an additional +30% on the gradient.

Is this for one panel or a full installation?

The bespoke estimate covers the total entered surface area in printed modules. We confirm the module sizes and count in your quote. Freestanding walls have two finished faces, but the surface is measured once; the +80% covers their double-sided construction. Lighting, electrical work, fixings, separate support systems, bar carcasses, worktops, delivery, installation and project-specific design or engineering are excluded unless quoted.

How does a freestanding wall stand up?

Its curved layout, module depth and footprint form the freestanding wall. It has no surrounding display frame. We specify the final curvature, thickness, joints and any site-specific restraint for the location and intended use before manufacture. A room divider is not sold as a certified guarding or balustrade system.

Is lighting included?

The lighting toggle is a visual preview and records your preference. Bespoke lighting and electrical work are quoted separately and are not included in the indicative total. The existing complete Alvea product includes its wooden base and LEDs at its displayed catalogue price.

Can I choose another colour?

Yes. Select one of the nine shades shared with our stool and Mandala collection, or add your own colour reference. Custom colour is +30%; a gradient is +50%. Pigment is incorporated into the printing material. We confirm the material, shade, sample and additional lead time before production.
