In our workshop we primarily use PLA, a thermal bio-plastic derived usually from fermented sugarcane, known for its recyclability and compostability.
Ingredients: Fermented plant sugar based biopolymers (corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet).
Wood PLA
In this variation, wood dust is blended with PLA to achieve a natural, raw timber finish that's softer to the touch.
