Concordia at Photoclimat: Open-Air Pavilion in Paris
Exterior design · Cultural installation · Paris · 2025
Concordia is an open-air architectural installation designed by Mamou-Mani for the Photoclimat biennale at Place de la Concorde, Paris. Fab.Pub fabricated components for the sculptural timber-and-rattan pavilion, which creates a public setting for photography and conversation.

Fabricating a public space for art
The composition features a timber tower flanked by two curving wings that support large-scale photographs. Looping rattan elements form an expressive outer skin, while reclaimed tree trunks help anchor the structure against wind loads. The installation frames views toward the Obelisk, connecting a contemporary work of architecture to its historic setting.
Working with Mamou-Mani and the wider engineering team, Fab.Pub contributed physical fabrication and assembly expertise so that complex geometry and natural materials could be translated into a temporary, buildable public installation.

A collaborative cultural commission
The project reflects how digital design and hands-on fabrication can work together on temporary public architecture: precise structures, expressive materials and a layout shaped around public experience.
