The Fab.Pub Mobile Factory is a compact, transportable robotic manufacturing unit designed to produce architectural components close to where they will be installed. By fabricating locally, we significantly reduce freight, waste, and disruption, while unlocking new possibilities for adaptive, circular construction.
Using large-format 3D printing and precision fabrication technologies, the Mobile Factory enables on-demand production of bespoke elements that are designed to evolve over time.
Why build on-site when you can manufacture on-site?
Traditional fabrication relies on distant factories, long transport routes, and fixed outcomes. The Mobile Factory challenges this model by bringing advanced robotic production directly to the project environment.
This approach allows us to respond to site conditions in real time, reduce embodied carbon, and create components that are tailored, repairable, and circular by design.

Materials with a second life
We work with materials such as PLA and PETG and are actively exploring circular blends that incorporate local by-products, including coffee waste. Where appropriate, we combine printed elements with hybrid timber systems to achieve both structural performance and material efficiency.
Every component is designed with its full lifecycle in mind, from fabrication and installation through repair, disassembly, and reprocessing into new parts.
